Various traditional and alternative medicine systems propose the existence of subtle energy systems within the body. While the terminology and concepts may differ among these systems, some commonly recognized energy systems include:
Biofield: The biofield is an electromagnetic field that surrounds and permeates the human body.
Meridians: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) describes a network of energy pathways called meridians through which vital energy, or "Qi," flows. There are specific points along these meridians where acupuncture or acupressure can be applied.
Chakras: In various Eastern spiritual traditions, particularly within the yogic and Hindu traditions, chakras are considered energy centers aligned along the spine. Each chakra is associated with specific aspects of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Aura: The aura is believed to be an energy field that surrounds the body, extending beyond the physical form. It is often described as a colorful and dynamic field that reflects an individual's mental, emotional, and spiritual state.
Hara: The hara is a concept in Japanese and Chinese medicine, referring to the energy center located just below the navel. It is considered a center of physical and spiritual strength.

Energy medicine works on the principle that disruptions or imbalances in the body's energy systems can lead to physical, emotional, or mental health issues.
Practitioners use various techniques such as acupuncture, Reiki, Qi Gong, and other modalities to restore balance and flow in the energy fields, promoting the body's natural healing abilities.

In an energy healing session, the specific experiences can vary depending on the practitioner's approach, the modality used, and the individual's needs. However, here are common elements that may occur during an energy healing session:
1. Introductions and Discussion: The session typically begins with an introduction and a discussion that will involve talking about your health history, current concerns, and goals for the session.
2. Relaxation and Comfort: You will remain fully dressed and lay down on a massage table.
3. Assessment: Dr. Stroud will begin by assessing your energy field to identify areas of imbalance or blockage.
4. Hands-On: Diagnostic palpation and release of tension and restrictions that show up in the body/energy field.
5. Sensations and Perceptions: You may experience various sensations during the session, such as warmth, tingling, or a sense of relaxation.
6. Discussion and Feedback: After the energy healing work is complete, there is often an opportunity for the recipient to share their experiences and for the practitioner to provide feedback. This dialogue may include insights gained, sensations felt, or any emotional releases.
7. Post-Session Recommendations: There may be recommendations for self-care or practices to support ongoing well-being. This may involve gentle movements, deep breathing, or additional guidance.

I Facilitate Transformation
When (not if) you find yourself on the threshold of self-discovery, it’s usually for any of three reasons:
1 -CURIOSITY
There are times we are seekers, willing to do the depth work it takes to live our life mindfully, consciously, and heartfully.
2 - LIFE TRANSITION
There are times when we need tools and support to help us navigate our changing and challenging life.
3 - PAIN
There are times we are in pain. Physical or emotional. Pain is a great motivator. When we are in pain we are willing to take actions that will help us resolve the pain we are in.
